1. Definitions
- “Bureau”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Shri Swami Samarth Marriage Bureau.
- “User” means any visitor or person using the website.
- “Member” means a registered user with a matrimonial profile.
- “Services” means the website, profile listing, search, introductions, manual membership and related support.
2. Eligibility
You may register only if you are legally eligible to marry under the laws applicable to you, legally capable of entering an agreement and not prohibited from marriage by a court or competent authority. The service is not intended for minors. A parent or guardian creating a profile for an eligible adult must have that person’s knowledge and authorization.
3. Registration and account security
You must provide accurate, current and complete information, maintain only genuine matrimonial profiles, and promptly correct changes. You are responsible for your login credentials and activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access. We may request identity or supporting documents and may keep a profile pending, restrict it or decline verification where information cannot be confirmed.
4. Purpose and nature of the service
The Bureau provides a platform and assisted introduction service for lawful matrimonial purposes. We do not guarantee a match, response, acceptance, marriage, compatibility or outcome. Verification badges indicate that specified material was reviewed; they are not a guarantee of character, background, financial position or truth of every claim.
5. Membership, fees and manual payments
Registration may be free. Paid membership, duration, interest limits, contact limits and assistance are communicated and activated manually by the office. Pay only through payment instructions confirmed by the Bureau and retain your receipt/reference. Fees and refund eligibility are governed by the written terms communicated for the selected service. Used contact unlocks, completed services and time already consumed may not be refundable except where required by law. Membership is personal, non-transferable and does not purchase a guaranteed matrimonial result.
6. Member conduct
You agree to use the service respectfully and only for genuine matrimonial purposes. You must not:
- Impersonate another person or provide false, misleading or unauthorized information or photographs.
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, exploit, stalk or defame another person.
- Request money, conduct fraud, promote commercial services or use profiles for recruitment, dating unrelated to marriage or unlawful activity.
- Upload obscene, illegal, infringing, malicious or privacy-invasive content.
- Scrape, copy, republish, sell or bulk-download profiles, contact information, images or website content.
- Bypass access controls, contact limits, security measures or attempt unauthorized access.
7. Profile content and licence
You retain responsibility for information and photographs you submit and confirm that you have the right and consent to use them. You grant us a limited permission to store, process, moderate and display that content only as needed to operate and promote your matrimonial profile according to its visibility setting. We may remove or reject content that violates these Terms or creates safety or legal risk.
8. Privacy and contact information
Our collection and use of information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Members control profile visibility. Contact information is disclosed only through the controlled unlock process. After obtaining another member’s details, you must use them only for genuine matrimonial communication and must not share, publish or misuse them.
9. Safety and independent verification
Members are responsible for independently checking identity, age, marital status, family, education, employment, income, health, legal and other claims before making decisions. Meet initially in safe public settings, involve family or trusted persons, and never share OTPs, passwords or banking credentials. Report suspicious behavior promptly.
10. Suspension and termination
We may review, restrict, suspend or terminate an account for false information, fraud, abuse, complaints, ineligibility, non-payment, security risk, violation of these Terms or legal requirements. Members may deactivate or delete their account using account controls. Termination does not remove obligations or liabilities arising before termination.
11. Intellectual property
The website design, branding, software, text and Bureau-created content are owned by or licensed to us. Except for normal personal use of the service, you may not copy, modify, distribute, publish, reverse engineer or commercially exploit them without written permission.
12. Disclaimer
The website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. Member information is largely user-submitted. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy of member claims or any particular matrimonial outcome. We do not endorse a member merely because a profile is listed or verified.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Bureau is not responsible for decisions, communications, meetings, misrepresentations, disputes, losses or conduct between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Users remain responsible for exercising judgment and conducting independent verification.
14. Changes to services or Terms
We may improve, modify or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer forum or other jurisdiction provided by law, disputes relating to the service will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
